A launch-stage privacy notice for Aliens Portal. This page requires the operator’s details and legal review before a public launch.
Verified operator details have not been supplied.
The portal offers reading, server-side search, original source links and a contact form. Member accounts, private collections, followed entities, internal notifications and moderated community contributions are available. Community publication requires review; public profiles are optional. Advertising is inactive. Search terms appear in the URL and reach the server; hosting logs may record requests. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in search.
The hosting provider processes requests and may retain operational or security logs. Access to a private publication and the editorial workspace uses ChatGPT sign-in. The editorial system checks the signed-in email against a server-side allowlist and records editor identity and revision history.
The application does not add advertising pixels or a third-party analytics SDK. Optional first-party measurements require explicit permission and respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. A device-local preference records your choice; no analytics visitor identifier is created. Daily counts include public page, entity and document views, bounded search topics and estimated reading completion. Raw queries, emails, referrers and IP addresses are not stored in the analytics aggregates. Counts expire after 90 days and event deduplication receipts after 24 hours. Old entries are removed on ingestion or report access. Editorial records and revisions are stored on the server. A service worker caches a generic offline notice; it does not cache records, admin pages, tokens or submissions. Optional browser diagnostics run only with ?quality=1 and keep measurements locally without sending them to an analytics provider. Hosting and identity-provider cookies or logs are governed by those providers’ policies.
Email subscriptions are inactive unless a verified provider and sender are configured and the operator enables them. A subscriber must consent and confirm the address. Pending confirmations expire after 24 hours. Confirmed addresses and consent dates remain until unsubscribe or an operator deletion. Each editorial email includes an unsubscribe link. If enabled, delivery uses Resend, which processes recipient addresses and message content under its own terms. Provider acceptance is not a guarantee that an email reaches an inbox.
The application stores a stable sign-in identity for account access, not your provider email or full name. Profile details, private collections, follows and notifications belong to your account. Public profiles require your opt-in and moderation. Approved comments and submissions display a reviewed public profile name or a pseudonymous handle; they remain outside editorial content. You can download account data, withdraw a contribution, and delete private account storage and redact owned contribution snapshots. Unlinked audit records and security logs may remain for operational review; deletion does not promise removal from copies already made by other visitors. Moderation decisions include a reason and permit reports or appeals.
Contact, subscription, community and analytics requests are limited using hashed network-address keys in short time windows. Community contributions also use separate hashed account keys, so changing a network address does not reset an account’s contribution limit. The application deletes old rate-limit records after approximately one hour. A hash is a pseudonymous identifier, not a guarantee of anonymity. No advertising profile or cross-site tracking is created.
The operator must supply its verified identity, public contact and jurisdiction in the editorial settings, and review retention and rights-request procedures. This starter is not a promise of compliance with every applicable law.
Contact email, message, category, referenced URL and submission time are stored privately for editorial review. The current deletion interval is 90 days. Expired requests are removed when a new request arrives or the editorial inbox is opened. Use the contact form for an access or deletion request; the operator must verify and handle requests under applicable law.
