The portal’s reading and search features do not require an advertising or tracking-cookie layer.
What the application adds
The application does not set advertising cookies or embed a third-party analytics service. The portal-measurements local-storage preference stores allowed or declined on this device. Optional first-party measurement requests start only after permission and stop when declined; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control override permission. Use Measurement preferences in the footer to change your choice. Search state is represented in the URL. A service worker stores only a generic offline page. It does not cache accounts, collections, source documents or form contents. Private collections and contribution records are kept in the application database.
Hosting and sign-in
Private-site access and the protected editorial workspace use the hosting platform’s authentication. The platform and identity provider may use their own cookies. Their policies apply to those services.
If this changes
Optional email delivery requires the operator to review the privacy notice and provider terms before activation. Additional tracking technologies or changes to account data handling require an updated notice and appropriate controls.
